Hoe onuitputtelijk zijn Gods rijkdom,
wijsheid en kennis,
hoe ondoorgrondelijk zijn oordelen
en hoe onbegrijpelijk zijn wegen.
Wie kent de gedachten van de Heer,
wie was ooit zijn raadsman?
Wie heeft hem iets gegeven dat door
hem moest worden terugbetaald?
Alles is uit hem ontstaan,
alles is door hem geschapen,
alles heeft zijn doel.
Hem komt de eer toe tot in eeuwigheid.
